The 1st Metal Casting Exhibition was held at Ueno No. 5 Hall.
1907
The Tokyo Metal Casting Association, the predecessor of the Metal Casting Artists and Craftspeople Association of Japan, was founded by Setsusei Okazaki, Joun Ohshima, Hozuma Katori, and Sōmei Matsuhashi.
1908
The 2nd Metal Casting Exhibition was held. The exhibition continued to be held annually thereafter.
1926
The Tokyo Metal Casting Association Exhibition was held at the Nihombashi Mitsukoshi Main Store. The exhibition continued annually thereafter.
1946
The Tokyo Metal Casting Association was reorganized and newly established as the Metal Casting Artists' Association, with Hozuma Katori, Toyochika Takamura, Kadō Sugita, Masahiko Katori, Haruji Naito, Fubō Maruyama, Tandō Marutani, Tomiyasu Aida, and others.
1947
The 1st Metal Casting Artists' Association Exhibition was held at the Nihombashi Mitsukoshi Main Store. The association continued its activities and exhibitions thereafter.
1957
The publication "A History of Modern Japanese Metal Casting" was released.
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the association’s founding, the "Metal Casting Masterworks Exhibition" was held at the Nihombashi Mitsukoshi Main Store.
Organized by The Asahi Shimbun, with support from the Committee for the Protection of Cultural Properties (currently the Agency for Cultural Affairs) and the Tokyo National Museum, and with the cooperation of Tokyo University of the Arts, the exhibition presented more than 200 works, including important cultural properties, historic masterpieces, and works by deceased artists.
The exhibition received widespread acclaim both in Japan and abroad as one of the most significant craft exhibitions of the postwar period.
1966
The 60th Anniversary Exhibition was held at the Nihombashi Mitsukoshi Main Store.
With the support of the Agency for Cultural Affairs and Tokyo University of the Arts, the exhibition presented works by deceased artists as well as works by members of the association.
1978
The 70th Anniversary Exhibition was held at the Mitsukoshi Craft Salon.
The exhibition featured works by deceased artists and works by members of the association.
1986
The 80th Anniversary Exhibition was held at the Mitsukoshi Craft Salon.
1994
To commemorate the 90th anniversary of the association, the exhibition "Japanese Metal Casting — Form of Metal Casting" '94 was held.
Organized by the Metal Casting Artists' Association, the Japan Craft Society, and the Azabu Museum of Arts and Crafts, with the support of the Agency for Cultural Affairs, the exhibition was held at the Azabu Museum of Arts and Crafts in Tokyo and the Daiwa Takaoka Store in Toyama.
1996
The exhibition "Japanese Metal Casting — Form of Metal Casting" '96 was held at the Azabu Museum of Arts and Crafts in Tokyo.
The exhibition was organized by the Metal Casting Artists' Association, the Japan Craft Society, and the Azabu Museum of Arts and Crafts, with the support of the Agency for Cultural Affairs.
1998
With the aim of presenting the association’s activities to an international audience, the association was renamed the Metal Casting Artists and Craftspeople Association of Japan.
1999
The exhibition "Japanese Metal Casting — Form of Metal Casting" '99 was held at the Takaoka City Museum of Art in Toyama and the Museum of Modern Art, Saitama.
The exhibition was organized by the Takaoka City Museum of Art and the Metal Casting Artists and Craftspeople Association of Japan.
2000
The Selected Artists Exhibition of the Metal Casting Artists and Craftspeople Association of Japan was held at the Sano City Local Museum in Tochigi.
The exhibition was organized by Sano City, the Sano Renaissance Metal Casting Exhibition Executive Committee, and the Sano City Local Museum.
2003
The exhibition "Japanese Metal Casting — Form of Metal Casting" '03 was held at the Museum of Modern Art, Saitama.
The exhibition was organized by the Metal Casting Artists and Craftspeople Association of Japan, with support from the Saitama City Board of Education and Television Saitama.
The touring exhibition "Japanese Metal Casting — Form of Metal Casting" '03 — Young Artists and Metal Casting Around Takaoka was held at the Takaoka City Museum of Art in Toyama.
The exhibition was organized by the Takaoka City Museum of Art and the Metal Casting Artists and Craftspeople Association of Japan, with cooperation from the Kitanippon Shimbun and support from local organizations including the Takaoka Traditional Copperware Industry Cooperative Association and the Takaoka Traditional Industry Young Entrepreneurs Association.
2008
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the association’s founding, the exhibition "Japanese Metal Casting — Form of Metal Casting" '08 was held at the Museum of Modern Art, Saitama.
The exhibition was organized by the Metal Casting Artists and Craftspeople Association of Japan, with support from the Metal Art Museum Hikari no Tani Collection, the Saitama Prefectural Board of Education, the Saitama City Board of Education, Television Saitama, and the Saitama Shimbun.
2011
The exhibition "Japanese Metal Casting — Form of Metal Casting" '11 was held at the Museum of Modern Art, Saitama, organized by the Metal Casting Artists and Craftspeople Association of Japan.

The exhibition "Japanese Metal Casting — Form of Metal Casting" '15 was held at the Museum of Modern Art, Saitama, organized by the Metal Casting Artists and Craftspeople Association of Japan.
