泉屋博古館の青銅器か らインスピレーションを得て制作しました。モチーフは饕餮文です。現代の人物が饕餮文のお面を被り古代の人と交信する姿を作りました。This work was inspired by the ancient Chinese bronzes in the collection of Sen-Oku Hakukokan Museum. The motif is the Taotie pattern, a mask-like design commonly found on ancient ritual bronzes. The sculpture depicts a contemporary figure wearing a Taotie mask and communicating with people from the ancient world. Through this imagined encounter, the work explores a dialogue across time, connecting the present with the distant past.
