東京ビッグサイトで開催される「Foundry Tech + Expo 2026」にて、東京藝術大学鋳金研究室展が行われます。本イベントは鋳造に係る企業の商業見本市であり、美術領域の出展は珍しい立ち位置となっています。

We are pleased to share information about an exhibition featuring three members of the Metal Casting Artists and Craftspeople Association of Japan: Kazumasa Saegusa （ @kazumasa_saegusa ）, Mariko Saji （@saji____m ）, and Masashi Ishikawa （ @m.ishikawa_murre ）.

The Metal Casting Laboratory at Tokyo University of the Arts will present an exhibition at “Foundry Tech + Expo 2026,” held at Tokyo Big Sight. This event is a trade show for companies in the foundry industry, so participation from the fine arts is relatively unusual.

“Chūkin” refers to metal casting as practiced in the fields of fine art and craft. We hope you will take this opportunity to see how chūkin is viewed within the industrial casting sector.
